Alcohol Related Frequent Attenders Clinical Network
The Health Innovation Network hosts the South London alcohol related frequent attenders’ clinical network. Across South London we know that some service-users present to A&E departments or are admitted to hospital on a very frequent basis due to alcohol-related issues. The alcohol related frequent attenders’ (ARFA) clinical network meets every six weeks, bringing together clinicians and commissioners who are either progressing pilot work targeted at this particular patient group, or are keen to develop new local initiatives in the near future and are planning for this. The network is a useful forum for information sharing and learning as well as guidance on best practice.
