Staff Health and Wellbeing &
Supporting Projects

Staff health and wellbeing
Recognising that problems with bone and joint health affect many people of working age, the MSK Programme also hosts the HIN’s work to support members in improving health and wellbeing of staff.

We are committed to lead by example, enabling our staff to take ownership, of their own health and wellbeing. We are currently working toward the ‘Excellence’ level of the Healthy Workplace Charter.

We hope to share learning across the Network, providing support for other Network Members and local employers who wish to explore ways of improving health and wellbeing of their staff.

MSK Supporting Activities
In addition to the above, we are also involved in supporting:

  • The development of MSK pathways in South London as part of ‘Our Healthier South East London Five Year Plan’ and South West London Sustainability and Transformation Plan
  • The Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Care Alliance (ARMA) National MSK Clinical Networks project
  • Our Clinical Director, Professor Hurley sits on a variety of national committees, including the Arthritis Research UK Clinical Studies Group

Working with charities
We work closely with national charities for osteoarthritis, including Arthritis Research UK, the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA), Arthritis Action, and Arthritis Care. These relationships help ensure our projects address the key issues for patients with osteoarthritis.

We would welcome discussion from anyone interested in working with us on the above projects.
