Dr Sophie Harris is a diabetes and endocrine consultant at Kings College Hospital. She is also the deputy clinical director of the diabetes theme for the Health Innovation Network. During her PhD year she worked on reducing inequalities in diabetes care, for people with Type 1 diabetes. Her specific interests are around digital health, improvement and implementation, self-care, patient education and empowerment including peer-support strategies.
