Our values of being brave, kind, open, different and together underpin our work on our three strategic goals – to improve lives, drive down costs and stimulate economic growth.
From cutting edge technologies, to new ways of working or treating health conditions, discover the stories behind the best innovations in health and care in south London.
What we do
The Health Innovation Network is the Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) for south London, one of 15 AHSNs across England.
As the only bodies that connect NHS and academic organisations, local authorities, the third sector and industry, we are catalysts that create the right conditions to facilitate change across whole health and social care economies, with a clear focus on improving outcomes for patients.
This means we are uniquely placed to identify and spread health innovation at pace and scale; driving the adoption and spread of innovative ideas and technologies across large populations.
We want a future where health and care innovation spreads fast. We’re building it by connecting people with great ideas, inspiring people to think differently and giving them practical support to do something new. Together, we can create a future where everyone benefits from the best in health and care.
We encourage our teams and others to be brave with their ideas and support them to try something new.
We care about each other, the people we work with and about the health and wellbeing of south Londoners.
We’re open about what we do and we share what we learn.
We think differently and we are strong because of our diverse backgrounds, talents and experiences.
We build communities and networks, we collaborate and we connect.
We work across all 12 of south London’s Boroughs
