Do you identify as LGBTQ+ with lived experience of an Eating Disorder? Share your experiences and help us to improve access to treatment.
The Early Intervention Eating Disorders Programme, led by the AHSN network, is currently supporting mental health teams across England to speed up diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in young people using the FREED model (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders). As part of this, we are also looking to highlight and reduce barriers young people face to treatment.
Join us and tell us about your:
Experiences of accessing eating disorder services
Successes and concerns
Ideas on how to improve services to achieve better outcomes.
If you identify as LGBTQ+, are 16+ and have lived experience of an Eating Disorder (either past or present), then join us and share experiences, stories, successes, struggles and advice.
Your stories and advice will form part of a resource pack for health professionals, aiming to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and improve care.
