Alcohol

Alcohol misuse is linked to many diseases and conditions, including heart disease, stroke, liver disease, and cancer.

Cutting back on alcohol can help reduce the health effects associated with drinking alcohol above recommended levels. It can also help with losing weight and creating more energy, improved mood and better sleep. Non-health benefits include improved relationships with friends and family, saving money and reducing the risks of accidents.

We’re working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders to implement innovative ways of preventing alcohol related harm and supporting people with alcohol dependency.
