National AF Programme and Toolkit

Atrial Fibrillation Stroke Prevention was a national programme delivered by all AHSNs between 2018 and 2020. The programme undertook a range of focused improvement projects across the AF pathway culminating in the development of the AF Toolkit.

The toolkit was designed to bring together methodologies, resources and practical tools for commissioners and clinicians working to reduce AF-related strokes. The resources are organised around each of the different AF pathway domains, Detect, Protect and Perfect.
