A Detect, Protect, Perfect approach for Atrial Fibrillation

The number of undetected cases of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) in south east London has grown following reduced face to face appointments during the pandemic. The NHS Long Term Plan states that where 100 people with AF are identified and receive anticoagulation medication, an average of four strokes are averted, preventing serious disability or even death.
