Evaluating the early implementation of online consultation across south west London

DoctorLink is a GP online consultation system being implemented across South West London by the South West London Health and Care Partnership (SWL-HCP). It provides online symptom checking and appointment booking for patients, and aims to streamline access to GP and other local healthcare services. SWL-HCP commissioned the Health Innovation Network to evaluate the approaches being used to implement DoctorLink as well as the staff and patient experience of the service across South West London, in order to learn from early adopters and support the wider roll-out of GP online services.
This report describes the findings of this evaluation and offers recommendations for SWL-HCP in supporting GP practices to implement DoctorLink.
