4Our Values

Brave

We encourage our teams and others to be brave with their new ideas. Through our Innovation Grants we gave members’ projects the kick-start they needed, to do just that.

Kind

We care about each other, the people we work with, and about the health and wellbeing of south Londoners. In 2018, we became the first Academic Health Science Network to sign the Equally Well Pledge and the New Beginnings Project we supported took off at St George’s Hospital, helping to make the operating theatre a kinder, friendlier and more caring place to have a baby

Open

We’re open about what we do, and we share what we learn. In 2018, we evaluated the success of the Red Bag Pathway and published the evaluation so we could share our learnings with others.

Different

We think differently, and we are strong because of our diverse backgrounds, talents and experiences. Convening Communities of Practices (CoP), we enable diversity to flourish and seek to solve complex challenges facing health care.

Together

We work together to improve health and care. When implementing the innovation Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) across south London we are working with the police and community mental health services to transform the approach to care for complex individuals.
