Innovation Clinics and signposting

Do you have a brilliant new idea or digital solution with the potential to:

  • Improve patient care, patient safety and clinical outcomes
  • Make savings for NHS and social care
  • Assist in meeting the NHS’s priorities?

If your innovation supports improvement in any of the above areas, we would love to hear from you.

To book an innovation clinic, please do one of the following:

  • Complete our Innovator Engagement Form. This will give us a better understanding of your solution and the type of support you need. We’ll then be in touch to organise an innovation clinic booking.
  • If you have recently completed an Innovator Engagement Form for another HIN then please send this to hin.innovatorsupport@nhs.net requesting an innovation clinic. We’ll then be in touch to organise an innovation clinic booking.
  • If you have recently completed an Innovator Engagement Form for another HIN but don’t have a copy of it, please contact hin.innovatorsupport@nhs.net, requesting an innovation clinic and we will endeavour to find a copy. Once we have it, we’ll organise an innovation clinic booking.

Join an innovation support programme

Working with regional and national partners, we run a series of intensive support programmes for innovators. The Health Innovation Network South London leads the delivery of DigitalHealth.London, whose flagship Accelerator has been recognised as one of Europe’s highest-impact support programmes for start-ups.

Entry onto our innovator support programmes is highly competitive. Each programme provides tailored guidance, networking and development opportunities for companies based on particular areas of focus or innovation maturity.

Connecting innovators and investors

Building on our work supporting innovators to gain the commercial and funding momentum they need for long-term success, we are bringing together investors to connect with early-stage and growing healthtech companies in London, the UK and beyond.

By bridging the gap between healthtech innovation and sustained investment, we are ensuring that great ideas grow into evidence-based products and services with sustained impact on our health and care system.

  • Networking and events
Through our national Innovator Support programmes, such as Accelerating FemTech and Mindset-XR Innovator Support programme, we provide crucial opportunities for innovators to connect with investors, who are committed to growing high-potential digital health products and life science solutions. Our networking events support knowledge exchange and networking, as well as helping to establish cross-sector connections.
  • HIN Investor Panel
The HIN Investor Panel also brings together representatives from leading angel, venture capital and public funds. Roundtables and events identify alignment between priority healthcare challenges and investment, whilst showcasing high-potential digital health and life science innovations from our network. It is chaired by Hitesh Thakrar, Deputy Chair of The Alan Turing Institute and former Chair of the HIN.
