This webpage is designed as a repository for resources from the London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice, including webinar slides and recordings, blogs and explainers, and case studies from our members.
This Community of Practice is part of the London Neighbourhood Health Delivery programme. For more information about the programme, please email PPL.
What is the London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice?
The London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice (CoP) was designed to support the delivery of neighbourhood health in London by connecting multi-sector stakeholders across local government, health, care and communities.
The group meets regularly online to discuss neighbourhood working in London, share real-world challenges and exchange best practice.
It aims to:
- Build a strong, connected network for peer learning, problem-solving and sharing best practice.
- Improve communication and system alignment across neighbourhoods in London.
- Feed insights into the London Neighbourhood Delivery Board, helping to drive decisions and actions for London neighbourhood working.
This CoP is part of the London Neighbourhood Health Delivery programme. The programme is made up of five task and finish groups:
- Digital
- Neighbourhood Commissioning and Contracting
- Neighbourhood People
- Neighbourhood Infrastructure
- Neighbourhood Implementation Community of Practice
Who is part of the London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice?
The London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice (CoP) is open to staff and volunteers working at organisations across London that are delivering, or will be delivering, neighbourhood care.
This includes colleagues from local authorities; the NHS; Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations; and community partners.
The Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) is Javina Sehgal, Director of Primary Care for West and North London Integrated Care Board (ICB). Javina is supported by a Steering Group, made up of representatives from across all sectors.

How does this Community of Practice link to the Task and Finish Groups for the London Neighbourhood Health Delivery programme?
The Community of Practice (CoP) is part of the London Neighbourhood Health Delivery programme.
The programme is made up of five separate sub-groups, which include Digital; Neighbourhood Commissioning and Contracting; Neighbourhood People; Neighbourhood Infrastructure; and Neighbourhood Implementation Community of Practice.
Insights from the CoP are fed into the London Neighbourhood Delivery Board to help drive decisions and actions for the overall programme.
How does this Community of Practice link to the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP)?
This London Neighbourhoods Community of Practice is for anyone that is delivering, or will be delivering, neighbourhood care in London.
It is different from the Community of Practice supporting the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP).
You may also be aware of other Communities of Practice running in different sectors or geographies. We would encourage you to join any of the Communities that feel relevant and useful for your work.
