Dawn Beaumonth-Jewell

Dawn Beaumont-Jewell is the Strategic Development Director at NIHR RRDN South London and works closely with the national RDN Oversight Committee. With a clinical background in oncology research nursing, Dawn has spent over two decades championing the integration of research into routine healthcare. She is a prominent advocate for health equality, focused on expanding research access to “invisible” communities and fostering a responsive, diverse research workforce. In addition to her strategic leadership at the NIHR, she serves on the London Adult Social Care Nursing Advisory Council, where she works to elevate the voice of nursing, midwifery, and allied health professionals in the delivery of modern social care research. Beyond her strategic work, Dawn remains grounded in the values of her early career in care, believing that the best research starts with listening to the people it serves.
