Mental Health

We believe that good Mental Health is critical to everyone’s health and wellbeing. The HIN aims to ensure that Mental Health is embedded in all our health programmes; Healthy Ageing, Diabetes and Stroke Prevention, MSK, and Alcohol in line with the Five Year Forward View for mental health.

Additionally, the HIN is playing a key role to encourage and support the spread and adoption of evidence-based good practice in Mental Health through our networks and partnerships, and by working with a wide range of stakeholders in south London.

The Team

Aileen Jackson.

Head of Mental Health, Mental Health

Aileen is Head of Mental Health at HIN. She has worked extensively in the health and social care sector including: commissioning, service development, workforce development and social work management and delivery. She is also a qualified trainer and a registered social worker.

Krystal Wong

Project Support Officer, Mental Health

Krystal is the Project Support Officer for the Diabetes and Healthy Ageing programmes at the HIN. She holds a BSc in Health Sciences and has a strong interest in health promotion and community development. Previously, she worked for various non-profit health organisations including Diabetes Canada on a Type 2 diabetes prevention/healthy eating and cooking programme.

Julia Prudhoe

Project Support Officer, Mental Health

Julia graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Sociology and Social Policy. Previously, she worked as an Engagement and Liaison Officer at Healthwatch Northumberland. Julia looks forward to learning more about technology, and developing skills to provide project support. She loves to travel, and has recently returned from South America.
