We believe that good Mental Health is critical to everyone’s health and wellbeing. The HIN aims to ensure that Mental Health is embedded in all our health programmes; Healthy Ageing, Diabetes and Stroke Prevention, MSK, and Alcohol in line with the Five Year Forward View for mental health.

Additionally, the HIN is playing a key role to encourage and support the spread and adoption of evidence-based good practice in Mental Health through our networks and partnerships, and by working with a wide range of stakeholders in south London.

The Team

Rebecca Jarvis

Programme Director, Mental Health

Rebecca has spent much of her career working in project and programme management across health and social care organisations. She has also worked as a joint strategic commissioner for Bromley Council and Bromley PCT (now CCG) of services for older people and carers and a programme manager for the Diabetes Modernisation Initiative in Lambeth and Southwark.

Aileen Jackson.

Head of Mental Health, Mental Health

Aileen is Head of Mental Health at HIN. She has worked extensively in the health and social care sector including: commissioning, service development, workforce development and social work management and delivery. She is also a qualified trainer and a registered social worker.

Amy Semple

Senior Project Manager, Mental Health

Amy spent 10 years in the private sector in business management before changing career. Graduating with BSc Health Studies and Master Public Health from Kings College London she worked as a Health Researcher for national charities and Local Government before joining the NHS. Hobbies include gardening, travelling and real ale.

Josh Brewster

Project Manager, Mental Health

Josh is a Project Manager for Healthy Ageing and Mental Health at the HIN. He holds a BSc in Biomedical Science and a PGDip in Healthcare Leadership. He joined the NHS as a Management Trainee in 2014, gaining experience in service improvement at Hull Royal Infirmary, before taking a role at North East Lincolnshire CCG.

Lydia Davies

Project Support Officer, Mental Health

Lydia is a Project Support Officer for Healthy Ageing and Mental Health at the HIN. She graduated from King’s College London in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Global Health and Social Medicine. Prior to her work at HIN, Lydia has carried out an internship in New York City with disabled children and regularly sings with people with dementia.
